Sentinels of Change
IMERSS is one of several Salish Sea partners for the Hakai Institute led Sentinels of Change Dungeness crab larvae light trap. It is a decade-long study focusing on understanding the population fluctuations of the Dungeness crab larvae to their adult stages. By improving our knowledge, it can help provide information to managers and decision makers to help sustain healthy ecosystems and communities.
